BEIJING, Mar. 9 -- The delegation of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) and the People's Armed Police Force (PAP) to the second session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) held the second plenary on Saturday.
At the meeting, fifteen deputies deliberated the government work report and made discussions and suggestions on major issues concerning the building of national defense and armed forces in connection with their working practice.
General Zhang Youxia, vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission (CMC), General Liu Zhenli, member of the CMC and chief of staff of the CMC Joint Staff Department, Admiral Miao Hua, member of the CMC and director of the CMC Political Work Department, and General Zhang Shengmin, member of the CMC and secretary of the CMC Discipline Inspection Commission attended the plenary.
