NOUAKCHOTT, Nov. 1 -- On Thursday morning, local time, the Chinese naval hospital ship Peace Ark, which is on the Mission Harmony-2024, arrived in Mauritania for a seven-day goodwill visit.
努瓦克肖特11月1日电当地时间10月31日上午，执行“和谐使命-2024”任务的中国海军和平方舟医院船抵达毛里塔尼亚，开始进行为期7天的友好访问。
The Mauritanian side held a ceremony at the dock of the Friendship Port of Nouakchott to welcome the Peace Ark.
毛方在努瓦克肖特友谊港码头举行仪式，欢迎和平方舟医院船到访。
During the visit, the Peace Ark will use its main platform to provide medical service, and dispatch medical teams to local hospitals and Mauritanian military installations. Members of the ship will also carry out cultural exchange activities in local schools.
访问期间，和平方舟医院船将利用主平台开展医疗服务，并派出巡诊分队前往当地医疗中心和毛军方有关单位。此外，医院船官兵还将赴当地学校开展文化联谊活动。
This is the Peace Ark’s first visit to Mauritania and also the first time a Chinese naval ship has paid a visit to the country since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mauritania.、
这是和平方舟医院船首次访问毛里塔尼亚，也是中毛建交以来中国海军舰艇首次到访。
