BEIJING, June 21 -- The results exchange meeting of the 7th Military Modeling Competition was held recently. Since its inception, the competition has provided over 12,000 solutions to the urgent problems faced by the military. Over 500 outstanding achievements from the competition have been applied in military practice, with many being approved for further research.
北京6月21日电 日前，记者从第七届全军军事建模竞赛成果交流会上获悉，全军军事建模竞赛自办赛以来，累计提供1.2万余份部队急难问题解决方案，500余项优秀成果应用于部队实践，多项成果获批立项深化研究。
According to an official from the military education bureau of the Training and Administration Department of the Central Military Commission (CMC), since the competition's resumption in 2018, its popularity has increased year by year, with a total of 74,000 participants taking part in the seven competitions. The 7th competition attracted over 17,000 service members from the military, with more than 4,500 teams competing with each other.
据中央军委训练管理部军事教育局相关部门负责人介绍，自2018年恢复办赛以来，全军军事建模竞赛参赛热度逐年升高，7届竞赛累计7.4万人次参加。第七届竞赛吸引了全军1.7万余名官兵报名参加，4500余支队伍同台竞技。
During the competition, participants were required to complete tasks including hypothesis formulation, modeling and solving, verification and analysis, and thesis writing. It has effectively improved the troops' capabilities to apply mathematical models in strategic planning of military operations.
Through years of exploration and practice, the competition has cultivated a large number of data analysis professionals for the military, which helped promote talent cultivation and solve practical problems in military development.
在集中竞赛期间，参赛选手需连续完成命题假设、建模求解、检验分析、论文撰写等环节，通过高强度练兵，有效提升部队官兵运用数学模型谋划打仗的能力素质。经过多年探索实践，全军军事建模竞赛已为部队发掘培养了大批数据分析人才，基本实现了实战化人才培养与部队现实问题解决的有机统一。
