贝鲁特9月14日中国第21批赴黎巴嫩维和多功能工兵分队和建筑工兵分队12日顺利通过联合国第三季度装备核查，所有装备器材均符合联合国规定标准。
BEIRUT, Sep. 14 – The 21st Chinese peacekeeping multi-role engineering company and construction engineering company to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) successfully passed the United Nations’ third-quarter equipment assessment on September 12. All equipment met the standards stipulated by the United Nations.
由联合国驻黎巴嫩临时部队（联黎部队）司令部派出的核查组，先后来到位于黎巴嫩南部的中国赴黎维和多功能工兵分队和建筑工兵分队营区，对武器装备、机械车辆、通信、办公、住宿等27类2万余台（件）主要装备和自我维持装备进行详细核查。
The assessment team, sent by the UNIFIL, visited the barracks of the Chinese contingent located in southern Lebanon, conducted detailed inspections on more than 20,000 primary equipment and self-sustainment materials in 27 categories, including weapons and equipment, mechanical vehicles, communication devices, office appliances, and accommodation supplies.
自去年8月部署到任务区以来，中国第21批赴黎巴嫩维和部队已安全排除地雷2000余枚，圆满完成120余项施工任务，接诊联合国人员和当地民众4000余人次，实现了扫雷无伤亡、施工无事故、医疗无差错，赢得了联黎部队、黎巴嫩政府和当地民众的广泛赞誉。
Since its deployment to the mission area in August last year, the 21st Chinese peacekeeping troops to UNIFIL Lebanon have safely removed more than 2,000 mines, accomplished over 120 construction tasks, and treated more than 4,000 UN personnel and locals. Chinese peacekeepers earned extensive compliments from the UNIFIL, Lebanon government and local people for their excellent performance of zero casualties in mine-clearing, zero accidents in construction, and zero errors in medical treatment.
